I recently spent a week at Kawayan Hostel, and I can confidently say it exceeded all my high expectations. Upon checking out, I accidentally left my shower bag behind, and to my delight, the staff promptly returned it to me, showcasing their dedication to exceptional service. The shared kitchen was an absolute gem, allowing me to prepare meals and connect with fellow travelers over shared culinary efforts, further enhancing the sense of community that permeates the hostel. The ambience in the rooms was incredibly cozy, thanks to the thoughtful addition of curtains that added a touch of privacy and warmth. Its location is perfectly situated near delightful eateries like Coco Frio and White Beard Coffee, making it convenient to explore local flavors.
